About Us
We are a family run Carpet and Flooring Company who have been trading for over 40 years in the Nottinghamshire and surrounding area's. We are proud to be back trading from our family owned premise's close to Nottingham City Centre.
We have built up a vast knowledge of flooring over the year's and owe it to the eldest member of family involved in Carpet. Now retired Ken Richmond (also known as Kenny). He was the first to take up fitting Carpet in our family. In the mid 70's Kenny served his Carpet Fitting apprenticeship with one of Nottingham's leading Furniture based companies Hopewells. Ken was introduced to Carpet fitting methods that experts in the n.i.c.f. (National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers) still promote today through FITA and it's professional Fitting Course's. The tools and methods may have advanced but the basics are still the same today as experienced by Greg Hill ("Kenny's youngest nephew"). Greg became a Master Fitter with the n.i.c.f. 7 years ago. Being a Master Fitter in the n.i.c.f. is regarded as the highest reward for Carpet and Floorlayers in the Country. Greg has been in the trade all of his life, he has attended various course's, been instructed by leading teacher's and been approved by the Countries leading assessor's.
Over the last 10 year's he has been establishing his own business. He is now one of Nottingham's leading Flooring Specialist's. He frequently liaises with leading Manufacturer's, Supplier's, Retailer's, Contract Manager's and respected flooring professional's.
We display products at our Showroom at Crown Works by leading Flooring suppliers including Amtico, Spacia, V4 Wood Flooring, Balterio Laminate Flooring, Cormar Carpets, Westex Carpets, Bond Worth Axminster Carpets, Altro Safety Flooring, Polyflor luxury Vinyl Tiles.
